10 year old Gio with Charlotte Dujardin showed their best ever performance today at CDI-W in London. Top motivated and powerful test well executed by Charlotte Dujardin.
As Gio recently changed ownership to Pidgley family it was a bit surprising when Dujardin showed up at the start list for the World Cup in London.
But there was no reason to be in doubt because Gio and Charlotte just delivered their best ever performance today. Sublime trot half passes and superb passage, the side picture is just awesome. The way Charlotte is able to show and support Gio brings them at well deserved 82% in today’s short Grand Prix.
Placed 2nd Frederic Wandres with Duke of Britain with 75,158%, Danish Nanna Merrald and Atterupgaards Orthilia 3rd with 75,108% and British Fry with Dark Legend finish 4th with 74,526%
Wandres with an error hind for the 2 times, but overall very solid test even though you could wish for more natural power and go from Duke, where Danish Orthilie and Nanna shows a high quality performance only for some moments lacking a bit more open frame, no technical issues just a tiny lack of balance for the first extended trot. Overall clearly higher quality through out the test (except the walk where Duke is just outstanding).
Charlotte Fry really collects her points from entering halt to final halt. Today with a bit of hesitation for the piaffe tours.
