Two top stallions for Nürnberger Burg-Pokal
It was an exciting day for the 1st round of the prestigious qualifier in Mannheim for Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final with among others the two highly popular stallions Foundation and Sezuan.
Foundation draw the longest straw today by winning the class, even though the scoreboard got a bit over heated from judge at B with 77%. No doubt Foundation has huge qualities, and not least he is a stallion which shows his basic gaits with impressive qualities. From seeing him before the small tour level he has definitely developed a lot of strength. Today with superb trot tour, bit tense for walk tour, but still showing good quality of the walk. Good timing for canter pirouettes, superb 4 times, unfortunately an error for 3 times. Good halt but a small disturb out into medium trot.
Sezuan was showing super nice flow and expression for the entire trot tour together with Dorothee Schneider. For the transition into walk he just makes the transition but then he takes another two trot steps. Good walk tour, for the canter he becomes quite tense today, and it looks a bit like Dorothee is not really allowed to support him. But for sure the very routined Dorothee Schneider will try to make tomorrow´s test her way - all the way.
But Helen Langehanenberg and her 8 yr old mare Brisbane came 2nd today - they were today´s winner just 5 point behind Foundation.
12 best combinations are ready for the final qualifier which starts at 14:00 tomorrow.
