En forrygende debut weekend
Blue Hors berider Daniel Bachmann Andersen slutter en succesfuld weekend af med en debut sejr i Grand Prix Special sammen med den 9-årige Blue Hors Don Olymbrio e. Jazz / Ferro.
Den udtryksfulde hingst går Grand Prix turen uden øvelsesmæssige problemer, og han viser sammen med Daniel, at der er kvalitet som på sigt, kan bærer dem videre internationalt.
Naturligt nok mangler den sidste skarphed, da Olymbrio jo hverken har rutinen eller kender vejen, og endnu også udviklingsmæssigt med blot 9 år mangler den sidste styrke til at holde kraften hele vejen hjem.
Frem for alt udstråler hingsten overskud også selvom overblikket endnu ikke er der. Det tydeligt at tror han på sin rytter og spiller med hele vejen, også selvom der er en lille fejl i slutningen af de 15 ettere, og at han mister pusten lidt på den sidste midterlinie.
Godt udtryk i passagen, hvor kun mere styrke gør billedet endnu flottere og en aktiv piaffe med tilhørende ubesværede overgange både ind og ud, er ikke kvaliteter som kan spottes inden man tager fat på træningen.
"Det er sjovt at bringe de unge heste til Grand Prix niveauet. Jeg har hele tiden følt at Olymbrio har haft anlæg for de svære ting, men "slut produktet" er jo først en realitet når man har redet ad midten. Det sidste halve år har virkelig rykket Olymbrio udviklingsmæssigt, og det er jo skønt når det føles både rigtigt og ikke for svært", siger en tilfreds Daniel.

A great debut weekend
Blue Hors rider Daniel Bachmann Andersen concludes a successful weekend with a debut victory in the Grand Prix Special with the 9-year-old Blue Hors Don Olymbrio by Jazz / Ferro.
The expressive stallion doing the Grand Prix test without exercise-related issues, and he shows together with Daniel that there is quality for the long term - hopefully bringing them forward at international level.
Naturally enough, still missing the last sharpness when Olymbrio of course lacking the routine and does still not know the way, and of course with just nine years missing the last strength to keep and maitain the power all the way.
The stallion shows expression even when not really knowing whats next, it is clear that he feels secure with his rider and plays along all the way in a quite easy way, even when there is a small mistake at the end of the 15 one time tempies, and that he loses the power and momentum slightly for the last centerline.
Good expression in the passage where only more strength makes the picture even more beautiful and active piaffe combined with effortless transitions both in and out, are not qualities that can be spotted before the serious training starts.
"It's fun to bring the young horses to Grand Prix level. I always felt that Olymbrio has got the ability and mindset for the difficult exercises, but the "end product" is first a reality when you have entered the centerlince in a test. The last six months Olymbrio has really developed, and it's wonderful when it feels both right and not too difficult at the competition", says a pleased Daniel Bachmann Andersen.
