(Ankum) The 37th P.S.I. Auction was one of the best ever, this was the unanimous opinion of the P.S.I. Organizers Paul Schockemöhle and Ulli Kasselmann in the follow-up to the auction. Euro 16,501,000 total proceeds for 48 horses sold in total confirmed the gentlemen’s feelings. Especially the third horse of the auction, the four-legged Ferrari who became highest-priced horse of the auction.
The four-year-old Oldenburg stallion Ferrari (Foundation x Hotline) who already won the stallion division at the Oldenburg National Tournament in Rastede, was an exceptional appearance in the auction arena, and as already described in the catalogue, an “outstanding dressage prospect without any ifs and buts”. The gentlemen responsible for the show stable Dressage Grand Ducal in Luxembourg won the bid at Euro 1,5 million, and they are looking forward to the further training of their new Ferrari.
The four-year-old brown Revenant, also part of the dressage horse collection, turned out to be the second most expensive horse of the auction. He was also nominated 2016 national champion, however, in Westphalia. The highly attractive stallion who particularly shined with his amazing canter, enchanted many customers around the globe and caused an exciting bidding duel. The progeny by Rock Forever out of a Sir Donnerhall I-dam finally changed at Euro 1,1 million to the Bavarian stud Ammerland.
