Fry is on fire
Another event where British Charlotte Fry shows her horses in absolute top form.
Recently Charlotte had some problems with her long time partner Dark Legend, where he got really scared by a camera during her test, and he actually still showed some tensions at the last competition. Here at Compiegne he is fully back on track with her and placed 3rd in the Grand Prix with 73,543% and 4th in the Grand Prix Special with 74,383%.
End of March Fry made international debut with 9 year old KWPN stallion Inclusive by Everdale / Uptown, and Fry manage the give the talented stallion confidence and super experience during their performances. Compiegne is just their 3rd international event and were placed 5th in the CDI3* Grand Prix with 70,5% and 3rd in todays Grand Prix freestyle with 78,600%.
Today Lottie and 11 year old KWPN stallion Glamourdale by Lord Leatherdale / Negro took the CDIO5* individual Grand Prix victory with impressive 79,435%, almost 2,5% in front of Isabell Werth with DSP Quantas.
They showed a lovely powerful test and still without tensions, with an obedient and 100% attentive Glamourdale. Watching their performance your never in doubt about their partnership, and how the big black stallion just wants to performe each exercise as told from his rider. We´ve previous seen an even more powerful test, but as they looked today they just showed so much individual medal potential for the up-coming World Championships.
A single but very expensive technical error by the second pirouette where it look as if Charlotte wants him a tiny bit to much back for the pirouette and loosing the balance. What a pity and about 2% lost at the scoreboard.
Tomorrow Sunday they have start time at 11.50 in the CDIO5 Grand Prix Special.
